Patient and exceptional craftsmanship
Kyle and his team did a Kitchen Reno of our home & also completed numerous other outstanding repairs. We cannot be more pleased with our experience. While another contractor showed concern about different aspects of the job and was all business , Kyle was engaging and his favorite saying was No Problem!They had the old kitchen removed in 2 days and the reno was completed in 6 weeks. Garrett , and all the trades did exceptional work and were professional and kind. We found living through the reno very challenging and Kyle was very patience and understanding. He worked extremely well with Mother Hubbard’s & our designer Nickey Myatt. We will definitely be using Cedarwood in the future.

Kyle: as promised, here’s my long overdue review. It’s taken me a while because we’ve been busy enjoying the beautiful spaces you and your team created for us! In Fall 2022, we hired Cedarwood to do a full remodel of our kitchen and dining room, and since then have been telling everyone we know about their great work! Consistent, tidy, quality workmanship, transparent pricing, collaborative, and friendly and professional tradespeople – everything you would want when taking on a big project. We gave them a tight timeline (a new baby on the way!) and Kyle made it happen! Everyone was super kind to our toddler who wanted to know all about the work they were doing. We were so happy with their work on the kitchen, that we brought them back to build a gorgeous cedar deck for us this Spring. Spectacular workmanship and dedication
We worked with BG Custom Homes on an extension rebuild project in 2021-2022. I found them through the Better Business Bureau website. They were the only firm out of many who would even look at our project. Over a number of months we worked with them to scope out the project and through each successive phase. The project was completed on time, on budget, with (almost) no surprises. The entire team, from the owner, project manager, and the onsite construction crew were fantastic to work with… respectful, responsive and professional at every step in the project. They moved heaven and earth for us to make this life-disrupting renovation go as smoothly as possible. The quality of the workmanship was spectacular. You can tell these are people who love what they do, including being dedicated to the needs of their clients. I would do it all over again if I had to and if I knew I would be working with this company. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve added a few photos that really don’t do the project justice but as proof that they more than delivered on our expectations. Strongly recommend BG Custom Homes.

They concentrate on building new homes, especially those with unique architectural designs. They enjoy turning raw materials into special, cherished spaces.
High-performance homes are also their thing. These include energy-efficient homes, often called passive homes, which can cut down energy use by up to 90%. They’re proud members of Nova Scotia’s Efficiency Trade Network.
One customer mentioned to us how happy he is with his energy-saving home, being an eco-conscious person himself.
Renovations are another area they focus on. They handle complete makeovers, no matter if it’s modern or traditional. They usually go for architect-designed projects, which means you can expect a high level of craftsmanship.
But if you need smaller, faster jobs done, this contractor is not the best choice.

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had Blueprint build my home in Nova Scotia. From start to finish, their commitment to quality and craftsmanship was evident in every detail. Each element of the design was executed with precision, and the finished product showcases an incredible level of skill and dedication. Highly recommended for professionalism
Blueprint Construction definitely deserves more than 5 stars. They are an amazing team and we would 100% recommend them. They built us a new oceanfront home in Nova Scotia while we were living in Ontario. This team shines when it comes to the two main things you care about when building a home: client service and finished product. Client Service: Blueprint could teach a Masterclass on client service. Not only was every member of the team excellent to work with (these are genuinely wonderful people!) but their system of regularly scheduled updates is amazing.
