There’s a high chance you’ve already heard of The Paw Pad Retreat & Spa, AKA the best doggy daycare in town. Every day, they supervise enriching activities that all their four-legged clients enjoy.
But we think the real accomplishment is that the dogs are just as happy to get groomed here. By the looks of it, their stylists really know how to handle every personality, from the shyest and most timid dogs to the pups that don’t seem to run out of energy.
Depending on what your pet needs, you can go for the standard bath and trim. Or you can also ask them to add an extra special blueberry facial or a soothing paw soak.
Just a heads up, though: tell them exactly what kind of cut you want for your dog. In the past, some customers were shocked to see their fur babies shaved when they thought they were just getting a basic trim.

Suds Up, Pup! is the perfect choice for dogs who aren’t too fond of car rides. Although they have a salon, they also offer convenient mobile grooming services.
For both of these, it can either be a quick session meant to freshen up your fur baby or an in-depth grooming appointment with all the works — bathing, drying, and styling.
You won’t have to wonder much about what they’re doing, since they usually send updates, along with the most adorable pictures of your pup.
We especially appreciate that they try to educate people as much as they can about their pets’ coats. Clients say this has taught them how to provide better care.
It seems that the only thing they aren’t as informative about is their extra fees. If your dog is extra finicky during her appointment or if you arrive more than 5 minutes late for pick up, expect to cough up some cash.

Dapper Dogs has a very soothing approach to grooming. Before any pup is introduced to water, the technicians shower them with love and ensure that they’re comfortable.
This seems to work, as plenty of dogs become so relaxed they end up sleeping through their session. It’s during this time that the staff takes the cutest pictures and sends them as updates to owners.
However, we wish they’d be this proactive in saying when appointments are over. They occasionally forget, and clients are left guessing if they can already pick up their pet.
At least they seem to put extra effort during holidays or birthdays. They give gifts and extra treats, which the dogs are always excited for.
And if you ask, they’re happy to give helpful grooming tips, such as how to get your pet to stay calm while brushing their teeth. They also have the best recommendations on what products to use for dogs with sensitive skin.
