Fast, professional service with a personal touch
I had a permanent Straightening session with Aron. He was so nice and kind to me, super fast, and really professional. Although I chose the chemical hair treatment to straight my hair, it did not have any bad smell, and I do not feel any tiny difference in my hair health, no hair fall at all. Perfect and long-lasting eyelash extensions
AMAZING SALON…Ive been getting my lashes done here at TNK Nail & Beauty spa for the last few months and the eyelash technician Regina, does an incredible job! She is very professional with the way she preforms the eyelash extensions. They are always perfect and gorgeous! The glue she uses is very strong so the extensions stay in a very long time! I have gotten lots of compliments on my lashes. The environment of the salon is very relaxing and calm. We particularly loved their custom facials, which are tailored to meet your skin’s specific needs—whether you’re dealing with dryness, acne, or aging.
But the standout service at this salon is the Cezanne Keratin Smoothing treatment. It’s an excellent choice for anyone with unruly hair, leaving it sleek and smooth.
Plus, the salon accommodates both solo visits and group bookings, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing self-care day alone or a pampering session with friends.
However, keep in mind that some of their prices might feel a bit steep, especially for specialized treatments like micro-needling and keratin treatments. It’s worth considering this when planning your visit.
Quick resolution and great customer service
It was my first experience at Uptown. The environment was very welcoming and staff were very friendly. I must say though $138 for a mani-pedi that took over 3 hours to dry is insane. My mani-pedi looks horrendous and it hasn’t even been 24 hours. The young lady did not allow each coat to completely dry before adding another coat which is why my nails did not dry properly. My toe nails are also not completely painted. The website also states the mani-pedi combo is $100 plus tax so I’m unsure why I was charged $138. I got regular polish and asked for a regular mani-pedi nothing special. All in all I will not be returning, I usually do my own nails and once a year treat myself. You can get a better mani-pedi for half the price in Clayton Park or for that price go to a higher end salon. I’ve been to places that serve you alcohol while you’re being pampered and the price was about the same for a much better experience. The owner reached out and refunded me right away, she also offered to rebook me and redo my mani pedi for free however, I have not had the chance to make it in yet to receive the service. Will update once I make it in!

Fantastic first-time experience
I had never heard of Uptown before I booked. I had been scheduled to spend the day at another spa, but they had to shut down unexpectedly due to a power outage. I’d taken a vacation day and was determined to enjoy myself, so I checked the Mind Body app and saw openings for an AHA peel and a pedi at Uptown. They had great reviews, so I decided to roll the dice. So glad I did! I had a fantastic time & will be back for sure. I’d never had a peel before, and ended up going for that and a hydrojelly mask. Jenny was fantastic – friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt so relaxed. Bonus – my pores, which have never responded to any of the other products I use at home – still appear much more refined 4 days later. I got my pedi from Amy, who was also wonderful. I appreciated that she knew to check how much callous I wanted to retain as someone who’s very active and needs some protection.

Supreme, family-like service
In all the years I’ve been going here, I have always had a pleasant experience! I have always had supreme service from their Master Nail Tech Brittany, my hair stylist Patrick, the wonderful ladies that greet me at the front desk… I’m ALWAYS treated like family when I come in. Personalities are spectacular from everyone. (I may have squared up with the coffee machine once though, but I suppose what family doesn’t have their squabbles…) Thank you to all the wonderful staff here for taking care of me every time I’m in 🥰

Warm staff and consistently excellent service
I have come here three times now and each time has been a fantastic experience. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly and the service has always been excellent. I have gotten my hair cut here, highlights for my hair and a facial and always received great service. I am extremely happy with the way my hair turned out and I look forward to coming back. This is my go to salon for sure. I also find that their prices are extremely reasonable and they always have an appointment available for me when I need it. They offered me 50% off coupons for services when I first came to this salon which really showed me that they appreciated my business and treated me like a valuable customer.
