Good service
I have used Mosquito Man for several years now and enjoy my mosquito and spider free yard. My property backs onto a treed area and before having my yard sprayed, I could not stay out for more than 10 minutes. Now I can enjoy my yard all day! Thanks for that! I will be continuing to use your service.

3. Truly Nolen Pest Control & Exterminators Halifax
Website: https://www.trulynolen.ca/
Address: 50 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville
Contact: (902) 425-7378
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Truly Nolen Pest Control takes a more targeted approach to mosquitoes by looking for the conditions that allow them to keep breeding.
Their technician inspects the property for problem areas such as standing water, damp flowerbeds, and other places where mosquitoes may breed or rest.
From there, the team creates a treatment plan based on what they find. This may involve removing breeding sites, setting up barriers or traps, and treating high-moisture areas.
They also offer monthly service calls during peak mosquito season as part of their Four Seasons programme. This approach can be useful when mosquitoes keep returning throughout summer.
Another benefit is the choice of treatment options. Their eco-friendly, pet-safe, and child-safe solutions give households more flexibility when deciding how their property should be treated.
The main drawback is that they’re completely closed on weekends.

Orkin Canada Pest Control has been dealing with household pests for decades, with services covering mosquitoes, ants, spiders, and other common problems. This broad range makes it useful for homeowners dealing with more than one type of pest.
For properties used mainly during summer, this team offers a Cottage Pest Control programme. It focuses on finding and sealing cracks and other entry points that pests can use to get inside, making it particularly relevant for cottages and second homes.
We appreciate their 100% satisfaction or money-back guarantee. If pests return after treatment, they’ll come back at no extra charge, and a refund is available if you’re still not satisfied.
The downside is limited weekend access, which can make scheduling harder if you’re only available on weekends. So, book as early as you can to secure a weekend slot!

5. mosquito.buzz
Website: https://www.mosquito.buzz/
Address: 101 Thornhill Dr #102, Dartmouth
Contact: (902) 418-5414
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
mosquito.buzz is a good match for homeowners who want ongoing mosquito protection throughout the warmer months. Their technicians first inspect the property for places where mosquitoes tend to rest, including dense shrubs, shaded areas, and damp spots.
Treatments are then applied directly to vegetation and other targeted areas using backpack sprayers.
The team returns every 18 to 21 days throughout the season, so you don’t have to remember to arrange each treatment yourself. This approach is particularly useful for wooded or landscaped properties, where mosquitoes have plenty of places to hide.
They also notify clients by email before and after each visit.
On the other hand, they close early on Saturdays, so weekend customers may have a smaller window to contact the team or arrange service.
