Knowledgeable instructor
HDS was referred to me by one of my friends. I must say this was the best decision I made. I’m new to Canada and was worried about how I would get my licence. Nomi is a phenomenal teacher, polite and calm, and made the driving lessons so easy-going. I booked 6 lessons, and the result was passed my road test on my first attempt with 0 demerit points. Their mock road tests are the real standout. Practising at actual Access Nova Scotia locations makes the final exam feel far less like a nerve-racking mystery tour.
I also like that completing their certified programme can shorten the wait for a road test. Students may qualify after nine months instead of the usual full year, which is a welcome shortcut without cutting corners.
That said, complimentary pickup only applies within their main service area. Anyone living farther out or in rural communities should confirm coverage before booking.

Coach Phoenix is an incredible instructor
I’ve had a beginner’s license for 10 years, and have been an overly anxious driver/passenger my whole life. Coach Phoenix is an incredible instructor and led me to pass my test on the first try with zero points. Many people have tried (and failed) to teach me to drive, and she was very efficient and detailed. Cannot recommend this program enough.
