James MartinCanadian folk-rock artist Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Beautiful Band are returning to Halifax for the Welcome Home Tour. They will perform at the Scotiabank Center on Saturday, March 14, 2025 with special guests Tim Hicks and the Fortunate Ones.
Doyle is the frontman of the legendary band Great Big Sea, which is known for blending Newfoundland folk songs with modern rock energy. While we do love the band, his solo projects are just as exciting and fun to watch live.
Welcome Home, Doyle’s fourth solo full-length album, is packed with light, energetic songs with creative lyricism. If it doesn’t make you want to stomp your feet and dance around, I don’t know what will.

Ticket prices start at $50 plus fees, but they will increase roughly by $5 on the day of the show. To prevent scalpers from reselling tickets at overpriced amounts, each person can only secure up to 8 tickets for the show.
