I spoke with their lead carpenter about their process, and he explained that frame inspections spot hidden moisture issues before any new floorboards go down.

Cedarwood Contracting Ltd focuses on rebuilding timber and restoring custom woodwork, which is a good fit if your damaged outdoor wood structure needs to keep its original look.
Their team handles cracked support posts and split floorboards, and they repair water-damaged ledger boards to keep your home safe.
Beyond that, their carpenters rebuild shaky steps and re-secure loose framing, which helps prevent accidents during family gatherings.
If you want natural wood, their traditional carpentry is tough to beat. I looked at a timber project they recently finished, and noticed that the new wood blended into the original structure so well that you couldn’t see any repair marks.
That said, they stick almost entirely to real timber, so you’ll need another local contractor if you need composite deck repair.

I love that they give 100% of their focus to one client at a time, since that keeps timelines tight and communication open from start to finish.
On top of that, I like that their quotes are straightforward with no hidden fees, which makes budgeting for your deck repair simple.
That said, their one-project model has a catch. Working on one build at a time means you may wait longer in peak season.

Beautiful job
Fantastic experience with Hickory Dickory Decks. Greg agreed to do a substantial deck repair when many places said they would only build new. The price was fair, the work started quickly and 2 ladies did the work over 3 days when we were away. Our deck is now in better condition than it was when it was brand new.
