Stopped in for a Muay Thai class! Knowledgeable coach and great students. Had the opportunity to spar with the coach, he’s a great fighter with excellent head movement, footwork, and a library of kicks!

What a pleasure couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to get into combat sports.

Good experience

My son had his first class here today. He can be quite shy trying something new and didn’t know what to expect, but Coach JP and Coach Mel immediately gave him 1 on 1 attention and instruction so he can catch up to the other kids. He wasn’t left behind, he was encouraged, praised and supported by them both. They are both great with kids, tough but fair and supportive, great to see! He was beaming with confidence after 1 class. He can’t wait to keep

Highly recommend

My kids and I have been going to forca for 6 years now for BJJ and Muay Thai and plan to go for many more to come. They started at 5 & 7 years old. My son has now travelled and competed internationally with podium finishes every time which I believe really shows the committed the team has for their students.

Amazing coaches and community. Would highly recommend!

Definitely recommend

I’m a blue belt and have been training at Força for about 6 months now. I’ve trained at many gyms around the world and Força definitely qualifies as one of the best I’ve ever been to! World class Bjj coaching, super friendly atmosphere, great mat area for grappling, tons of bags and equipment for Muay Thai, and very good prices. Definitely recommend! 🔥

4. Fit Plus

Fit Plus is a mixed martial arts and fitness gym that provides authentic training passed down from Thailand. You get to learn genuine striking techniques rooted in traditional Muay Thai culture.

The instructors frequently travel overseas to refine their skills and bring fresh techniques back to Dartmouth.

Their programmes are tailored to both fitness enthusiasts and competitors. You can benefit from intense cardio and build functional strength through technical drills.

The beginner classes focus strictly on conditioning and basic form, ensuring you always feel safe. You can even request one-on-one training if you’re competing.

However, the schedule might disappoint advanced fighters. Their Muay Thai sparring session is only available twice a week, so you won’t get much live combat practice if you miss a day.

Customer Reviews

One of the best decisions I’ve made for myself

I have been training at Grants for over two years and it’s been an absolutely incredible experience, and one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I started with zero athletic background and under the guidance of TJ, Alex, and other coaches, have been able to safely learn jiu jitsu and Muay Thai in a fun and welcoming environment. The wealth of experience and knowledge the coaches have is very evidently reflected in the many long standing members of the club who have been training here for years.

Highly recommend

Great gym, even better people.

Only a month in at Grabts but already hooked. Train Muay Thai, BJJ here — the coaching is solid across the board, but what really sets this place apart is the vibe. No egos, everyone’s supportive, and it’s genuinely fun to show up. Highly recommend. TJ is a great Head Coach, happy to be training under him.
