How We Reviewed

Nail know-how: We prioritized salons skilled in everything from neat shellac to structural enhancements. A good manicure’s more than a pretty colour.
Clean practices: We looked for properly sterilized tools and single-use files. Hygiene shouldn’t be an optional extra.
Local feedback: We favoured salons praised for friendly service and lasting results. Consistency’s what earns a return visit.
Convenient locations: We chose accessible spots near busy commercial areas and transit. Your nail appointment shouldn’t require an expedition.

I will definitely be coming back

I visited Eman Beauty Spa for a refill on a set of gel nails and Visha absolutely outdid herself! She took the time to ask questions about how I preferred the shape and length of my nails and perfected a very complicated design! I will definitely be coming back 🙂

Perfect gel extensions

I got my nails done with Sylvia. My nails can last 1.5 months, which is 50 days, and saved me a lot of money on getting refills frequently, and my time is so tight to come for a refill every 2 or 3 weeks. Her gel extensions are perfect! I like her work and design. The price is reasonable as well. I treasure her hard work and professional taste.

Amazing experience

I had such an amazing experience at Blume Salon! I got a full set of acrylic nails done by Pritika, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I’ll be honest—I was a bit hesitant coming in because I’ve had a bad experience in the past getting my birthday nails done elsewhere. But Pritika completely changed that for me. She was incredibly patient, detail-oriented, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted.

Amazing job

I had my appointment with Pritika. She did an amazing job with my nails. She made me so comfortable, and her skill is amazing. My nails looked so beautiful by the end of the appointment, and thank you, Loveleen, for making me tea. I do recommend this shop to everyone. Thank you Pritika.

Highly recommend

I just got ombré nails done by Celina, and I’m seriously in love with them! She did such an amazing job—the color blend is so smooth and perfect. She took her time, and it really shows in the final result. I’ve already gotten so many compliments! Selena’s super sweet, too, and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. I’ll definitely be going back for sure! Highly recommend her if you’re looking to get ombré nails! 🎀❤️

Perfect spot for a manicure

Went for the first time today for a manicure. The service was great, the salon was very clean and spacious, and honestly didn’t have the overpowering smell that so many nail salons have due to the chemicals they use. The nail tech was pleasant and checked in regularly with me to make sure I was happy with the results. I was in and out in about 40 minutes, so a perfect spot for a manicure during my lunch hour!

Definitely recommend

I had my nails done (simple shellac manicure- shaping, tidying up cuticles and then the polish) done by Cindy. She did an incredible job. I went in with my nails in very rough shape, and she made them look so tidy and clean. She was so gentle and very thorough. She made sure to ask if I was happy with them after every step of the process. It was a quick and very pleasant experience, and I will definitely recommend this salon.

Exceptional manicure

The best place in Halifax to get your nails done. Staff are polite and friendly, prices are good, and the quality of the manicure is exceptional. I have never left unhappy with my nails and trust the techs completely! I’ve had shellac manicures last up to 5 weeks without chipping or peeling.

Highly recommend

Today was my first time visiting Su Nails. I had the pleasure of meeting and laughing with Su and her daughter while enjoying a shellac manicure and pedicure. Family run, I felt like I had been a client for years. The shellac application was meticulous and the cuticle work was above par. I would highly recommend Su nails!
